Lyman, South Carolina

 NOTICE OF RECYCLING CENTER CLOSURE

We regret to inform you that the Town of Lyman is permanently closing its Recycling Center, located in the former mill parking lot, due to high operating costs.

In 2008 the Town of Lyman began providing a recycling station for our residents. At that time, the vendor paid the town for the waste product. We now have to pay $20,000.00 per year for the service. As a result, Council has voted not to pass this cost on to our citizens and discontinue the service. We sincerely regret any inconvenience this may cause you.
