The Town of Lyman is accepting volunteer applications for the Town of Lyman Planning Commission.  This board consists of five (5) Council appointed members and hold monthly meetings on the fourth Tuesday of each month.  Individuals appointed to this board serve in a non-paid capacity. 

The purpose of the Planning Commission is to guide development with the existing and future needs of our community and to protect and preserve the integrity of the town while encouraging growth and development.

Individuals interested in volunteering must be legal residents of the Town of Lyman and shall not hold any other elected or appointed public office in Spartanburg County. 

Applications may be found on the Town of Lyman website, lymansc.gov, or may be obtained at Town Hall, 81 Groce Road.
